Application
Somatos Mini viscosimetric analyzer Somatic Cell Analyzer is designed for control of milk quality and determination of the amount of somatic cells in milk based on the method of determination of viscosity measured by the time of the tested sample outflow through the capillary.
The method for determining the number of somatic cells in milk used in the analyzer fully complies with the State Standards of the Russian Federation (GOST 23453-2014).
The principle of operation of "Somatos-Mini"
The analyzer uses viscosimeter’s principle:
Pour 5 ml of Mastoprim solution in the analyzer’s glass flask using a pipette;
Pour 10 ml of milk sample in the analyzer’s glass flask using a pipette;
Press the “ENTER” button, and wait for 2 minutes, the analyzer will automatically mix the milk sample with the Mastoprim solution;
The measurement results will appear on the analyzer’s display:time of outflow of the mixture through the capillary;number of somatic cells in the milk sample.
